Buying A Kiesel

This review I have direct comparisons to lots of my other guitars so it’s quite use-full to hear how they all compare. Particularly how they push different overdrive pedals.

So this all started with Johnny Hiland. Last year I got really into his style, then I found out that he was playing Kiesel guitars after that moment I knew that one-day I would have to get myself a Kiesel. About 9 month later I custom ordered one, as a rule Kiesel is generally thought of as a brand that serves the heavier styles of music, knowing that I decided to order something that was in my wheel house (a strat style guitar) with two humbuckers. Thinking I would use it to play heavier stuff when ever I felt like rocking out.

After it arrived (only 9 weeks after I ordered it) I was stunned by how nicely it was finished. Still looking for a solid number two guitar and liking the idea of it being humbucker equiped. (incase a room has bad hum) I decided to take it out for a gig and see how it went. It well out performed it’s price tag. Stayed in tune the whole gig, and the intonation and feel of guitar was really good. Only issue was the pickups the back one was way too hot the front was just the wrong eq for my sound. Next step getting Radioshop to make me some PAF’s. Hopefully might just have my number 2 guitar.
