What I Got

G&L ASAT (USA)

An oldie but a goody, Well not really and oldie . I have had this guitar since late 2012/ early 2013 which makes it the longest I have ever owned a guitar for. Nothing much to say really would have played 1000 gigs on this thing never had an issue with it. Leo’s MFD pickups are magic and if you haven’t tried them I suggest you try to get your hands on a guitar with them in it. Sadly the US G&L’s are becoming increasingly difficult to get in New Zealand hence buying a strat.

PRS McCarty

Best guitar, I own but my least used. I was looking for a Les Paul and just couldn’t find one that played/stayed in tune. It was then the guy in the shop bought this beast out. The sustain was amazing, tone was creamy and playability was through the roof. Can’t fault a single thing with this guitar. So why don’t I play it more? The other guy in my band plays Gibson style guitars and I feel like it’s better if we have a mix of Fender snap and Gibson warmth. So for now at least it’s G&L and Fender for me.
